And another big DX255LC-7 crawler excavator

12 March 2026

Following the delivery of the Develon DX300LC-7 crawler excavator and Develon DX190W-7 wheeled excavator last year, we recently delivered another brand-new crawler excavator to Arno van den Dungen Demolition and Groundworks. This time, it's a slightly smaller crawler excavator, but it certainly doesn't have to be overshadowed by its bigger brother. If only for its color scheme and the "demolition worker" trim fitted to this Develon DX255LC-7 crawler excavator, entirely to customer specifications.

You can immediately spot an "Arno van den Dungen machine"; their fleet, thanks to their striking color scheme, forms one big family. It's incredibly cool to see, especially when several machines are working simultaneously. We delivered their acquisition directly to a project in 's-Hertogenbosch. In the photo album below this post, you can see several "Arno van den Dungen machines" running simultaneously on the project – a beautiful sight! The best photos this time are from Arno himself; we picked two from his Facebook page, because let's be honest: you just have to see such a magnificent excavator shine in the sun.

We were pleased to delight Arno van den Dungen from Haarsteeg, Brabant, with a brand-new crawler excavator equipped with a durable and fuel-efficient DL06 6-cylinder Stage V engine (over 190 hp) that meets the latest emissions standards. This powerful engine, of the Common Rail type, is equipped with a particulate filter, catalytic converter, and AdBlue technology. We also installed and supplied several customer-specific options in our Staad workshop:

  • Roof and window rack in company colour for protection during demolition work;
  • DropsaVET (formerly Wiejelo) automatic grease lubrication: 8 instead of 4 kg reservoir;
  • OilQuick OQ70/55 fully automatic, hydraulic quick-change system;
  • OHT2 Smart with controller overpressure unit;
  • Glass pane in skylight incl. windshield wiper;
  • Compressor mounted in superstructure incl. air hose on reel and blow gun;
  • Cleanfix reversible cooling fan;
  • Bucket cylinder protection and track shoes beveled;
  • Additional LED work light on the inside of the spoon handle;
  • Lifting eye welded on dipper stick with CE certificate;
  • Spraying the machine in two company colours, topped with a clear lacquer layer;
  • Powder-coated steel mudguards.

We wish Arno van den Dungen many happy and safe hours of operation with this fantastic new acquisition.
