Develon expands its range with the new DD100 bulldozer

03 April 2026

Develon introduces the new DD100 bulldozer. A machine that ranks among the best in its class in terms of operating weight and power. The DD100 is designed for use in residential construction, light non-residential construction, and road construction, and is ideal for fine leveling work. Its standout feature is the high power-to-weight ratio. This ensures greater force on the ground and improved traction compared to other machines in the power classes below 140 hp.

Productivity and technology

Productivity is driven by a six-way adjustable dozer blade, allowing operators to lift, tilt, and rotate the blade for precise leveling. Customers can choose between a standard blade with a capacity of 2.22 m³ or an optional blade with a capacity of 2.58 m³. The mechanical blade angle adjustment in two directions offers better control over the digging angle, while a blade shaking function helps to quickly remove material buildup.

The DD100 is equipped with advanced technology to improve leveling accuracy. An optional 2D leveling system simplifies precise leveling, even for less experienced operators. For even greater accuracy, an option for 3D machine guidance and control, developed in collaboration with Trimble / Leica / Topcon, is available. This system utilizes GPS technology and an additional in-cab monitor to deliver improved leveling performance. Electro-hydraulic control is standard, allowing operators to tailor the machine's responsiveness to their preferences and experience level.

Visibility and comfort for the operator

The DD100 offers one of the best fields of view in this machine class, thanks to the narrow design of the front engine compartment, which gives the operator a better view of the blade and the working area. Key visibility improvements include a concealed engine pre-filter, a rear-mounted electronic cooling system, unobtrusive front cab pillars, and full-glass doors for optimal visibility of the work area. Additionally, a standard rear-view camera increases situational awareness and safety at the workplace.

Operator comfort was central to the design. The DD100 is equipped with an air-suspended seat and cab suspension for a smoother driving experience, combined with a powerful heating and cooling system to ensure comfort in all weather conditions. Defrost vents for the windshield and doors improve visibility, while powerful LED lighting supports working in low light conditions.

Fuel efficiency

Powered by a 3.4-liter D34 diesel engine, the DD100 meets Stage V emission standards. An ECO mode can reduce fuel consumption by up to 5% under lighter operating conditions by lowering the pumping power. Additional features such as automatic idling and automatic engine shutdown further contribute to reducing fuel consumption during periods of inactivity.

Versatility and sustainability

The DD100 is equipped as standard with piping for an optional ripper with a parallel coupling, which maintains a constant angle relative to the ground. This allows operators to loosen hard materials before leveling or provide support during erosion control operations. Thanks to an optional tow bar, the bulldozer can also move equipment across the construction site.

The machine's undercarriage is designed to improve durability and reduce total operating costs. A combination of single- and double-flanged rollers extends component life, while customers can choose universal or full track guards, depending on working conditions, to maximize uptime.

Ease of maintenance

The DD100 is designed for ease of maintenance and a long service life. A compact inline pre-cleaner, integrated into the air filter, contributes to a longer filter life by effectively removing contaminants such as mud, snow, and dust. Key maintenance points on the chassis are easily accessible, including a removable side panel for lubricating the tensioning system. A high-quality fuel-water separator and dual fuel filters improve fuel purity and reduce the risk of system failures, while a rear-mounted cooling system with a reversible fan improves both reliability and visibility.
