First: National Type Approval of mobile earthmoving machines

Together with RDW we have achieved something unique: for the first time in the Netherlands, a National Type Approval for mobile excavators has been issued to an importer, and that is us.

For our manufacturer Develon we have obtained this approval for no less than 8 excavators and 7 wheel loaders and one for the Staad DX165W Electric excavator. A huge step forward, because this means that these machines can be registered directly without individual technical inspection. And that saves time and money.

Thanks to a strong collaboration with the RDW, in which real thought was given to technology and practice, we now have a workable system that fits the versatile mobile Develon machines and the electric machines that we carry.

Before the RDW issues a National Type Approval, the production process has been tested, various tests have been performed and the mobile machines have been administratively recorded. With the certificate of agreement, a Develon importer can have the machines registered in the Netherlands without a technical inspection of each machine by the RDW.

In short: this is a wonderful milestone that we can and should all be proud of.
