Second DX165W Electric for Weijtmans

For our fine customer Boomrooierij Weijtmans from Udenhout in Brabant, we delivered their second brand new electric powerhouse just before the Technische Kontakt Dagen (TKD 2025). This machine is now fully operational in the Weijtmans fleet, but was previously shining on our Staad stand at this sunny outdoor fair, and attracted a lot of attention. Just like Weijtmans, we were also very proud that this fantastic excavator - from this very specific sector - was on display there. You can also see some photos of it in the photo album.

We were able to make Weijtmans happy with a DX165W Electric to be precise. This machine is 100% emission-free and enjoys advantages such as less noise and no exhaust fumes without sacrificing power. This electric mobile runs on the Powerbox 400, which makes the working day without recharging very possible.

The above is a quote from Weijtmans, one of the driving forces in the sector. At the time, they were involved with six other companies in the consortium De Bouwplaats van Morgen , which took the road to 'working with electrical equipment', which shows how ambitious Weijtmans is and what they stand for. They also knew then... the future is electric!

This DX165W Electric #is known just like our other Electric models for its endurance, which we always strive for is more than a working day. For this mobile excavator that is even 12 to 14 hours on one Powerbox 400 battery. But certainly also for the unparalleled power. And that power and good endurance is needed in the field where this machine goes wild, certainly also with the (yellow) multigrip20 from Hultdins with integrated saw on it.

We have equipped this electric mobile excavator with a number of customer-specific requirements here in the workshop:

• Driveline protection for forestry work;
• Bar rack for front and top window, extra safe during demolition work;
• Extra protection on the rear lights;
• Solid plastic front window consisting of one piece including mounting;
• Verachtert hydraulic quick coupler;
• DropsaVET (formerly Wiejelo) grease lubrication;
• Freshfilter overpressure preparation;
• Lifting eye on spoon handle with certificate;
• Nokian tires;
• Window film, blocks 80% of the sun.

We wish Weijtmans many more pleasant, safe and emission-free operating hours.
