Another DX355LC Electric for Boskalis

Just a few weeks ago, we delivered the sixth DX355LC Electric crawler excavator in a series of seven to Boskalis Netherlands . Boskalis is one of our customers when it comes to electric earthmoving equipment, but certainly also for the service and collaboration we share regarding customer-specific configuration and maintenance of electric excavators.

This crawler excavator is also getting to work on a dike reinforcement project, in this case once again in Heerewaarden, where we delivered an electric powerhouse just over a month ago. During the on-site delivery, our demonstrator provided a detailed explanation and demonstration of this zero-emission crawler excavator, after which the operator could get straight to work.

We mention many of the deliveries individually, but behind the scenes, this is of course a major project for both Boskalis and us. Good and pleasant cooperation forms the basis of the machines that eventually roll out of here, or in this case, chug along.

We have made Boskalis happy with a customer-specific DX355LC electric crawler excavator. Here at Staad in the workshop, the following wishes have been realized:

• Groeneveld grease lubrication, where the grease pot (8kg instead of 4kg) has been lowered for easy filling;

• Trimble Earthworks GPS preparation;

• BMair Freshfilter overpressure unit preparation;

• Verachtert CW40 hydraulic quick coupler;

• Electrically switched swing damping;

• Electrically switch bucket cylinder to extra function;

• Pressureless return;

• Replace hose rupture valves of lifting cylinders and arm cylinders (3x) with Atlantic Fluid hose rupture valves)

• Chamfering track plates;

• Work light 1x left side and 1x right side of the dipper stick;

• Two extra work lights on counterweight;

• Install folding steps at the cabin entrance;

• Sprayed in company colors and finished with a clear lacquer coating.

We wish Boskalis Nederland and the operator of this crawler excavator many pleasant, safe, and emission-free operating hours.
