Good news: we are back! On Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, we are opening our doors again. This is the perfect moment to see with your own eyes what has happened at Staad over the past two years, and believe us: that is a lot. A whole lot.
From impressive machines to innovations and experiences: there is plenty to see, do, and discover. There is ample entertainment for young and old, so feel free to bring the whole family and make it a fun and impressive day together.

Staad has grown tremendously in recent years, and the event is growing along with it. Since the last Grondverzetdagen in 2024, we have grown to over 170 colleagues. From our locations in Veghel, Brabant (now three locations), Oss, and our serial production facility in Harlingen, Friesland, we work with great energy on our development every day. We do this with an enthusiastic team of professionals full of passion, craftsmanship, and pride—people you can get to know personally during these days.
The event takes place at two locations. At our R&D site at Doornhoek 4041, the future takes center stage: here, we focus heavily on zero-emission electric machines and the associated charging infrastructure. Among other things, you will find our Powerbox battery packs there, which we assemble in Oss. We also proudly present our own #paradestaadjes: the self-designed and built electric excavators, the STAAD 17W mobile excavator and the STAAD 23LCR crawler excavator. These machines are currently being assembled in Veghel and will be produced in Harlingen in the future.
At our main location at Doornhoek 3945, our trusted home base, everything revolves around diesel and electric conversion machines. Here you can take a look inside the workshop and discover many more surprises.
The Earthmoving Days at Staad are known for rotating earthmoving machines, actually moving soil, and the opportunity to ask employees anything you want. During these days, there are excavator demonstrations, including of the STAAD 23LCR. Additionally, MEGA sandboxes are set up at both locations, where you can test-run various earthmoving machines yourself (please note: ages 16 and up). You can also test-run the newest STAAD 17W. So, soil will certainly be moved these days!
The Earthmoving Days are the perfect opportunity to meet our professionals and discover everything about our products and services in the field of charging infrastructure for zero-emission projects. Our experts would be happy to discuss the possibilities for an optimal, green energy supply with you.
Fun fact: the bar and various other facilities at the event run entirely on our Powerboxes.
The Grondverzetdagen are more than just machines. You will also meet the partners with whom Staad collaborates intensively on the mounting and installation of machines and other innovative solutions. These partners would be happy to tell you more about the collaboration and show you what they have to offer – each from their own stand.
Stroll past the various stands, get inspired, and discover surprising products and ideas. And be sure not to forget to stop by our own Staad merchandise stand, packed with original, new, and fun Staad 'I-want-that' goodies!
During the open days, there really is something for everyone, including children. They are very welcome. Especially for them, there is a bouncy castle, a sandbox to play in, and fun games to play, such as Connect Four.
But there is much more: face painting*, kids' tattoos, a drawing table, mini pancakes*, and of course lemonade.

Are you curious about what it is like to work at Staad? Or what it is like to do an internship or complete your graduation project? That is perfect, because there is an opportunity to take a special tour for that purpose. Advance registration is required, and you can do this quickly and easily via the registration forms at the bottom of this section.
During these tours, we take you a bit more behind the scenes at our wonderful company and fill you in on what it is like to work here, complete your studies, etc. There is also more time and opportunity to ask questions about this. Apart from this tour, you are always welcome to approach a colleague during our open days to ask your questions about this. This tour is a unique opportunity to be immersed even more in the World of Staad; it is truly worthwhile, and because it is a bit more one-on-one, you get to know some employees a little bit already—always handy, right? Need to recharge with a bite and a drink? You can do so at the specially designed food and beverage square. Here you can relax and chat about all the beautiful things you saw at Staad.

Please note: follow the signs to the free car park at the Poort van Veghel. A shuttle bus is ready here every 5 minutes to transport you to our event. At the end of your visit, we will take you back to the car park by shuttle bus. Parking at our two buildings is not possible by car. However, it is possible by bicycle or motorcycle.

Are you traveling by car or motorcycle? Follow the signs and the traffic controllers.
By bike?
You can park your bicycle at the entrance at Doornhoek 3945.
Shuttle bus, parking & transport
A shuttle bus departs from the parking lot to Pand 1 every 6 minutes.
From Building 1, the shuttle continues to Building 2 and then back to the car park.
Bicycles are also available to travel from Pand 1 to Pand 2 and vice versa. You can also walk; this takes about 5 minutes.
Would you prefer to come by your own bike? That is possible; there is plenty of space to park your bike at Buildings 1 & 2.
A Kiss & Ride is available at Building 1 for quick drop-offs.
Sanitary facilities
Toilets, including for the disabled, are available at both locations.
Wheelchairs
The grounds are wheelchair accessible. There are some wood chips in certain areas, and it may be necessary for someone to assist; please feel free to ask one of our staff members for help if needed.
