In mid-April, we proudly delivered the brand-new electric crawler excavator to Wetering from Heesch in Brabant. A DX355LC Electric crawler excavator on a Staad low loader is a stunning sight in itself. Finished in Wetering's recognizable company colors, the picture is complete. Or rather: fully charged.
For 70 years, Wetering has been known for high-quality work with an eye for people, nature, and the future of the Netherlands. As a leading player in clay exploitation, nature and water management, infrastructure, and soil engineering, they know better than anyone that progress begins with smart choices. This zero-emission addition fits seamlessly into that picture.
Upon delivery, our demonstrator Joey naturally provided an extensive machine demo. Because delivering an electric excavator is more than just handing over a key and waving from the sidewalk. We fully guide operators, equipment managers, planners, and other stakeholders through the usage, operation, and charging process. Not complicated, but essential.
This DX355LC Electric is equipped with two interchangeable Powerbox 400 battery packs. This allows the machine to run effortlessly for more than a full workday without changing or charging in between. Need to change? Then it is practically ready for use 24/7. Changing a battery takes just five minutes per Powerbox. Shorter than some coffee breaks.
As befits Wetering, this machine is also fully finished in the recognizable red and grey corporate style. With custom decals and bespoke work from our workshop, this is not just an excavator, but a calling card on tracks.
