Luijten Groep owns the Doosan DX140LCR-7

09 December 2022

We visited Luijten Group , where we spoke to owner Remy and operator Sandro. Sandro has now been employed by the Luijten Group for six years and is proud to drive the Doosan DX140LCR-7 . They wanted to share their experience. Curious why Sandro describes the machine as a 'wolf in sheep's clothing'? Then read on!

Origin

Started as a landscaping company, Luijten Group was founded in 2003. Where they were mainly concerned with green space, parks and private gardens. Expansion took place a few years later and activities such as earthmoving, infrastructure work and civil engineering were soon added to the list. Now, in 2022, the Luijten Group consists of four different companies: Luijten Groentechniek , Buitengewoon Habets , Greenspot & Co and Equipment Service South.

Projects

''We are currently using the Doosan DX140LCR-7 to excavate a water basin, the machine does very well for such work and that is one of the reasons why we purchased it. We are also involved in infrastructure work a lot and he does a really good job there too. Immediately deployable, that was also the intention'', Remy said.

Box preference

''What I like most is the tranquility in the cabin of a Doosan machine, in particular the DX140LCR-7 crawler excavator . You just don't hear the excavator's pump. If you are working with a machine all day, that is important. The guys working around the machine always say that too''. Machinist Sandro called it with beautiful words: "a wolf in sheep's clothing."

''A long time ago we also purchased the Doosan DX170W-5 wheeled excavator from Staad. Then we sat down at the table and looked critically at the different brands. This showed that Doosan was simply the best option. I've always worked with a Doosan in the past and I've always liked it very much'', Sandro said cheerfully.
