Spotted on the way: Doosan DX55W from Bakx Projecten from Nispen

01 October 2019

A neat young used Doosan DX55W has been running for a while at Bakx projects from Nispen. Bakx Projects is a specialist in small to medium-sized projects in earthworks, landscaping and paving. From its home base in Nispen, the company is mainly active in the West Brabant region. Both for private individuals and business customers, Bakx Projects tackles it all!

We have an appointment with Martijn Bakx, owner of Bakx projects, about his experience with his new Doosan so far. Martijn visits customers, makes appointments and prepares quotations, but he can also often be found outside on a job. “I do all kinds of different activities. Not just outside, but actually throughout our company.”

Martin says: " As an extension to our machine park, I was looking for a 5.5 tonne truck. For my company, this is a broad investment. We can put this Doosan to good use on our yard, but also use it with our growing clientele and, for example, the implementation of larger projects. 5.5-ton earthwork machines are also relatively sparse in the region. There I see opportunities to bring in extra! I came to Staad through previous work in earthmoving, where I also ran on a Doosan. I put my question to Pieter Staadegaard, who quickly submitted a quote for this DX55W. This relatively young used machine was a great offer for us, partly because I have a lot of confidence in Staad. Our machine was delivered as agreed, well built with the options discussed in advance that are important for our business operations.”

All great, but how does the Doosan work now? “The Doosan DX55W has proven itself several times in the field. It is a sizeable machine and if you see how it performs, it fits Bakx Projecten more than fine. So far we are only satisfied!"
