Doosan has launched a new mobile app for Apple and Android devices for the successful DoosanCONNECT TMS2.0 system. This system is used by more than 80,000 excavators, wheel loaders and dumpers worldwide.
In addition to the standard functions of the DoosanCONNECT system, the mobile app has more functions, such as a link that can be made with your Doosan dealer so that you can contact each other even faster. The new app of the DoosanCONNECT TMS2.0 system is only available in areas where a connection higher than 2G is present. The next generation of DoosanCONNECT TMS3.0 is available for all new Doosan -7 machines, including the new wheeled excavators that will be released later this year.
The DoosanCONNECT system is designed to increase the effectiveness on the construction site and the insight into your machine park by being able to monitor real-time data from, among other things, the engine and hydraulic systems of your Doosan machines. It is also possible to see where the machine is located and whether it is available. Doosan customers receive a monthly report on machine operations to ensure efficient machine use. This report contains detailed information about service hours, fuel consumption and notifications for changing filters and oil, for example.
Doosan wants to expand the reach of DoosanCONNECT
Doosan will expand the types of machines that have the ability to use DoosanCONNECT. Doosan also wants to use the data to manage consumables and improve maintenance packages.
The DoosanCONNECT system provides comprehensive information on machine performance through satellite and cellular network. It is also the only tool that provides so much data and cost-saving information to customers in order to work even more effectively.
The DoosanCONNECT telematics system allows fleet managers to create reports such as fleet status, machine details, machine locations, hours of operation, fuel consumption, machine error codes, maintenance history and consumption history.
According to Doosan, the DoosanCONNECT telematics system provides many benefits to help the customer work even more efficiently, such as tuning the machine based on fuel consumption, security and safety.
The system supports multiple Doosan machines or different locations. In this way the customer can check whether the correct mix of machines is being used. It can also help operators operate with greater efficiency and find another machine in the event of a breakdown. All this with a very good security system. Customers can see the exact physical location of the machine and verify that the machine is where it should be. This also helps to prevent machine theft.
Operational data also gives owners insight into fuel consumption and the selected energy mode in various applications. This helps to understand whether an operator can make adjustments to do the same job with less fuel consumption.
If a problem arises, the DoosanCONNECT system ensures that the dealers can remotely see what is wrong with the machine.
With all the information available through DOOSANCONNECT, the company policymaker can better plan which machines he needs for certain activities. This can help attract work through the efficiency of your machine. After the work, the company can also demonstrate exactly how much the machines have been running, which can lead to new employment opportunities.
