We are proud that J. Veldhuizen has chosen Staad again. With the investment in both a STAAD 17W electric mobile excavator and a STAAD 23LCR electric crawler excavator, the company is further expanding its zero-emission fleet.

The collaboration between J. Veldhuizen and Staad dates back many years. The company previously invested in a DX165W Electric mobile excavator, and the experiences with it have been positive. Electric equipment has proven itself not only on paper but particularly in daily practice; this was further confirmed by the purchase of a second DX165W Electric.
J. Veldhuizen is among the companies that embraced the possibilities of emission-free working early on. As a participant in the De Bouwplaats van Morgen consortium, it actively contributed ideas regarding the future of electric equipment and emission-free construction sites. A future that is increasingly becoming a reality, or perhaps already is.

Recently, Jaap, Jordi, and several operators from J. Veldhuizen attended a special demo afternoon at Staad. There, they not only got a look behind the scenes in our workshop but were also able to drive and operate the most advanced demo model heading towards production themselves.
It is precisely that practical experience that we find incredibly valuable. The operators from J. Veldhuizen have put the machine through its paces and provided valuable feedback. The great thing is that those experiences largely correspond with the responses we receive from operators at other customers who have also ordered a STAAD 17W. That input helps us to further refine the final details ahead of the start of production.
With the choice of both the STAAD 17W and the STAAD 23LCR, J. Veldhuizen convincingly continues that course. Two machines from our own STAAD brand, developed from years of practical experience in electric earthmoving and built for the demands of today and tomorrow.
